Mannen bakom det kända projektet Stolpersteine, Gunter Demnig vet, trots rubriken i DN, Konstnär tackar ja till att lägga snubbelstenar, ingenting medan DN och Myndigheten - Forum Levande Historia tycks veta allt vad han har sagt - fast konstnären Gunter Demning visste inget fram tills igår om de i DN beskrivna förehavanden. Han visste inte ens att han har uttalat sig. Därför mitt öppet brev, se nedan:

Dear Gunter Demnig,
Mr. X. Xxxxxx contacted You yesterday after I raised the question about two persons that Swedish journalist Ola Larsmo chooses as the representative for Your project in Sweden.
As I admire a lot Your project, I checked earlier the names Mr. Larsmo suggested. None of them fits the criteria of Your project Stolpersteine as none of the named persons was deported from Sweden. One of them in March 1938, yes 1938, did not receive stay and work permit in Sweden. The second one lived for a while in Sweden but was found guilty of spying and moved to Finland. Later he was deported from Helsinki to Talin. It is true that both were murdered during the Holocaust but this is just one of Your criteria for Your project. "The second person" I described got his name inscribed on the monument in Helsinki and stone with his name is planned in this city.
Concerning the first person I just want to add that there were hundreds of persons that were applying of the permit to enter Sweden so if one uses Ola Larsmo criteria there should be hundreds of Stolpersteine in Sweden.
There is also more of the false information in this article as well.
After Your letter from yesterday, it is likely that Swedish Newspaper - Dagens Nyheter and others (ao. Forum Levande Historia) are using You and Your name.
However, the most important and sensitive is that having Stolpersteine in Sweden with these two names they suggested will ruin Your entire project.
In 1993, I started the project called Namnmonumentet which You can see when in Stockholm (2019 according to Dagens Nyheter and also on my blog.
My present work is 1000 monuments (World Wide) dedicated to Janusz Korczak and his work. The art project is run by me and two artists, Justyna Bamba from Stockholm (before Breslau) and Gerrman artist Jörg Haberland from Munchen.

Torbjörn Ivarsson (journalist) som står bakom DNs artikel och rubriken Konstnär tackar ja till att lägga snubbelstenar har inte svarat på min mail. Jag har ändå fått tag i honom.
Han meddelar följande:
- Han har inte haft kontakt med konstnären.
- Han har inte kollat några uppgifter som framkommer i tidningen.
- All info i tidningen kommer från Ingrid Lomfors.
- Det finns mera i en e-upplaga.
- Mkt bråttom till ett möte....sa den icke undersökande journalisten.
