Children and Parents from Kinderheim in Bergen-Belsen came to Sweden on different White Boats - 11 year old Shüler (trainee) from Buchenwald came on July 9th 1945 to Gothenburg.

 





Two cards of Zajdman - Seidman Teodor that was just 6 yer old when WWII started and he was imprisoned in Piotrków Trybunalski Ghetto. On December 2, 1944 he was sent to Buchenwald concentration camp where he was registered with the worker card and got the title Schüler - trainee.

One month after arrival he was transferred to Bergen-Belsen camp with a group of 21 boys. Younger boys got a place at the Kinderheim in Barrack 211 in Womens camp. In Barrack 211 he met his cousin Miriam Stern that was deported from Piotrków at the same time but to Ravensbrück camp. Later Miriam and her mother Nacha were also transferred to Bergen-Belsen.

After the liberation he and his relatives were transferred  to Sweden by mission White Boats. They landed in Gothenburg on July 10th 1945 and were admitted to the Wasa hospital.

The biggest group of children from the Kinderheim arrived 2 weeks later to Malmö in Southern Sweden.

Later most of the children from Kinderheim reunited again.



XXX on Teodor Zajdman - Seidman registration cards has also explanation next to 3 x. He was of course an analphabeth as he as a minor never had an occasion to start the school.


DP-2 card of Mirjam Stern (born 1937 in Piotrków) mentioned in the previous photo. Her card issued in Lübeck is signed by her using three crosses. Mirjam was liberated in Bergen-Belsen together with her mother Nacha and her cousin Teodor Zajdman (Seidman) that was born 1933 or 1937 as stated in different documents.On December 2, 1942 Teodor was, together with his father Abram sent from Piotrków to the concentration camp Buchenwald. Later he was transferred to Bergen-Belsen where he was liberated in April 1945. Teodors mother was sent to Ravensbrück together with Miriam and Nacha Stern.



Later most of the children from Kinderheim that arrived at different occasions and to different Swedish ports reunited again like here at the school in Lövsätra..
