Pierwsze powstanie w Getcie Warszawskim

23 lipca 1942 r. na wieść o rozpoczęciu przez Niemców likwidacji getta warszawskiego prezes warszawskiego Judenratu Adam Czerniaków popełnił samobójstwo.
Janusz Korczak, przemawiał na grobie przyjaciela.
"...Bóg Ci powierzył godność Twego narodu i Bogu Ty godność tę przekazałeś”.
Adam Czerniaków to było pierwsze powstanie w Warszawskim Getcie, napisała o tym po wojnie jego zona Felicja Czerniaków.
