Polish passports to the Jews from concentration camps that arrived in Sweden after WWII.

Polish passports to the Jews from concentration camps that arrived in Sweden after WWII. When the Jews were not returning to Poland or leaving on the ship S/S Ulua (in January 1947) it was found that after receiving the Polish passports they were applying for Swedish Främlingspass -Aliens passports. Thus, for going abroad or after the decision for staying in Sweden.

The Jews disliked being called repatriandi as most of them had no families in Poland to return to. Numerous Polish repatriandi were sent in 1945-1946 to Poland. Jews that fear that they can be forced to return got the permit to stay in Sweden or to leave Sweden for other countries than Poland.
It is possible that the Polish consulate in Sweden issued Polish passports with a date that was automatically put one day after arrival to Sweden.
