Korczak and Keren Hayesod

An exceptional, handwritten note by Janusz Korczak addressed directly to the Warsaw board of "Keren Hayesod" that I found at GFH-archives.

An exceptional, handwritten note by Janusz Korczak addressed directly to the Warsaw board of "Keren Hayesod" (The Palestine Foundation Fund), signed with his legal name, "H. Goldszmit." The document stands as a physical artifact of the Old Doctor's deep, institutional involvement with the Zionist revival movement in pre-war Poland.

[Addressee:]

[Body of the note:]
If it would be possible to request one, or possibly two tickets for the collaborators of Nasz Przegląd.
Respectfully,

Korczak was early interested in the Zionist movement and was appointed a deputy member of the Polish section of Sochnut, the Jewish Agency (July 1929). Also, Adam Czerniakow was elected at the same time.
