Dom Sierot Janusza Korczaka - 4-5 sierpnia 1942 - Ostatnie słowa Pamiętnika Korczaka

Ostatnia, 72 strona i ostatnie słowa Pamiętnika Korczaka. Opisuje wczesny ranek 4 sierpnia 1942 roku. Dzień później 5 sierpnia deportowano Korczaka, wychowawców i 239 dzieci do obozu śmierci Treblinka.
Sienna 16, Dom Sierot widziany z aryjskiej strony.

Ostatnia, 72 strona i ostatnie słowa Pamiętnika Korczaka. Opisuje wczesny ranek 4 sierpnia 1942 roku. Dzień później, 5 sierpnia 1942 roku deportowano Korczaka, wychowawców i 239 dzieci do obozu śmierci Treblinka.

Podlałem kwiaty, biedne rośliny sierocińca (...). Przygląda się mej pracy wartownik. Czy go drażni, czy rozrzewnia ta moja pokojowa o 6 rano czynność (...). Moja łysina w oknie – taki dobry cel? Ma karabin. – Dlaczego stoi i patrzy spokojnie? Co by zrobił, gdybym mu kiwnął głową?

Ostrowską czyli do Dużego Getta.

Hennes pappas i Auschwitz.

Holocaust monument desecration in Stockholm Summer 2020 - First it happened in Auschwitz and thereafter in Stockholm - The process of separation of the young women from their parents and siblings. FAMILY LAST SEEN IN AUSCHWITZ.

The Holocaust monument in Stockholm, 6 stones - 6 million by Justyna Bamba and Roman Wasserman Wroblewski was built to tell also the traumatic story of selection. The 6 stones have the names of concentration and death camps like Auschwitz, Majdanek, Belzec, Chelmno, Treblinka, and Sobibor. The stones are the symbol of the death place of the families of the girls and women buried in Stockholm.  Just next to the memorial stones.

Young Holocaust victims, the girls buried at Jewish cemetery in Stockholm often described the process of selection camps directly after the liberation when registered in Lübeck. See above, a typical DP-2 card. Just simple words. The family last seen in Auschwitz. Parents and two sisters were murdered in Auschwitz. Parents, three sisters, and two brothers. The selection and separation were rather quick. Suddenly the girls and young women were the only ones of the big family who were left alive! The grave tombs of Holocaust victims together with 6 stones is a wonderful act of reunion of the families separated during the industrial Holocaust. The sudden and unexplained removal of the 6 memorial stones in July by the Jewish Congregation of Stockholm effectively destroyed this family reunion, the integrity, and the concept of the Monument. This reunion was as well a part of the concept by Roman Wasserman Wroblewski of teaching about the Holocaust to the young Swedes.

This is a real photo of selection and separation of the families. It shows the arrival of Hungarian Jews from Carpatho-Ruthenia to Auschwitz death camp. Many of them came from the Berehovo Ghetto, which itself was a collecting point for Jews from several other small towns.

The Holocaust Monument in the North Jewish Cemetery in Stockholm, 6 stones - 6 million, by Justyna Bamba and Roman Wasserman Wroblewski from the Swedish Holocaust Memorial Association, was built to mark the graves of the young Holocaust victims and also to tell the traumatic stories of their lives.

As part of the project, the graves which were invisible after 70 years of neglect have been uncovered and cleaned and the six stones marked this previously forgotten area that was by many considered reserved for future burials.

The Holocaust Monument captures not only the memory of the young victims who are buried there but also the fate of their family members who perished in the death camps represented by its six memorial stones.

The sudden and unexplained removal of those stones in late July by the Jewish Congregation of Stockholm has effectively destroyed the integrity and the concept of the Monument. The 6 stones have the names of concentration and death camps like Auschwitz, Majdanek, Belzec, Chelmno, Treblinka, and Sobibor. The stones are the symbol of the death place of the families of the girls and women buried in Stockholm.

As part of the work on the Monument, the information was researched and gathered not only about the victims themselves but also about the fate of their families. This was obtained from the medical histories compiled by the Swedish doctors at the time of the women's arrival, indicating where other members of their families perished. Thus, the Monument commemorates also the death of their families and allows a symbolic joining of the victims with their families which were separated in the selection process described below.

The Holocaust selection process refers to who was chosen for forced labour and who was sent to gas chambers upon arrival in the concentration camps such as Auschwitz. The victims, often entire families, were originally deported out of their hometowns to ghettos and sent by train in cattle wagons to one of the main labour and death camps.

Upon arrival, there was a selection. Families were separated. Men were placed separately from women and children. Afterwards, an SS physician, would decide whether they were in good physical health to be put to work or to be sent to the gas chamber. The prisoners had to go to the left or to the right with no further explanation.

The girls buried at Jewish cemetery in Stockholm described this process directly after the liberation when registered in Lübeck and thereafter at Swedish beredskapssjukhus - emergency hospital, after having been transported by UNRRA action White boats. Just simple words. Parents and two sisters murdered in Auschwitz. Parents, three sisters and two brothers. Separation was rather quick. Suddenly the girls and young women were the only ones of the big family who were left alive!

The grave tombs of Holocaust victims buried in Stockholm together with 6 stones is a wonderful act of reunion the families separated during the industrial Holocaust. Sudden and unexplained removal of the 6 memorial stones in July by the Jewish Congregation of Stockholm effectively destroyed this family reunion, the integrity and the concept of the Monument.

This reunion was as well a part of the concept of the teaching about the Holocaust to the young Swedes. The special system of QR codes was invented by dr. Wasserman Wroblewski.

Someone wrote to me today: Such a valuable work and Monument. So many people who survived the camps during the war nevertheless died in the Shoah (the Holocaust).

The grave tombs of Holocaust victims together with 6 stones is a wonderful act of reunion the families separated during the industrial Holocaust. This reunion was as well a part om the concept of the teaching about the Holocaust of the young Swedish. The special system of QR codes was invented by dr. Wasserman Wroblewski. Here on the left the code at the grave of the Holocaust victim Vera Krémer. This code leads us to information about Vera Krémers life a.o. ghetto in Hungary, the transport in cattle wagons to Auschwitz and here selection and separation from her mother that was chosen to died by suffocation in the Auschwitz gas chamber. Picture on the right is the code describing the Auschwitz in general.

Justyna Bamba is adjusting the tombstone of Sari Grünberger. Sari was 12 yers old when WWII started. The Auschwitz stone was placed just few rows behind her grave. In a way the family was reunited.
Sari Grünberger DP-2 registration card from the Lübeck Transit Hospital. (top left) tells us about the fate of the rest of the family that were transported to Auschwitz. She was the youngest of four sisters. The only one with the grave. The Auschwitz memory stone on the right is the place were she saw her siblings and parent for the last time before they were separated. Six stones - Six million is more than a number, it is six million individual lives, families, communities. Thus, there will also be a retelling of the life stores of some of parent, grandparents and siblings who perished in the death camps by guiding along the memorial stones and Holocaust victims graves.

Över 50 000 människor dog i Bergen-Belsen.

runt i landet.

Ulica po ulicy a jednego dnia to domy sierot i schroniska - Pamiętnik i Deportacja Domu Sierot Janusza Korczaka

Ulica po ulicy a jednego dnia to domy sierot i schroniska. Niemcy rozpoczęli deportację Żydów z Getta Warszawskiego do obozu zagłady w Treblince zaczynajac od Małego getta. Następnie akcję rozszerzono na obszary Dużego getta.
Pamiętnik Korczaka to jego ostatnia wypowiedź literacka, swego rodzaju dokument pisany u progu śmierci.
Ostatnia notatka w Pamiętniku została zrobiona 4 sierpnia 1942 roku, a 5 sierpnia 1942 roku Korczaka razem z 239 wychowankami i pracownikami Domu Sierot deportowano do obozu zagłady w Treblince, gdzie wszystkich uduszono w komorach gazowych.

Bóg Ci powierzył godność Twego narodu i Bogu Ty godność tę przekazałeś - Janusz Korczak na pogrzebie przyjaciela Adama Czerniakowa.

23 lipca 1942 roku - Adam Czerniakow - Żądają ode mnie bym własnymi rękami zabijał dzieci mego narodu. Nie pozostaje mi nic innego, jak umrzeć.

23 lipca 1942 roku - Adam Czerniakow

...Bóg Ci powierzył godność Twego narodu i Bogu Ty godność tę przekazałeś.

W latach okupacji hitlerowskiej prezes Rady Żydowskiej (Judernatu) w Warszawie.

Adam Czerniakow pozostawił wstrząsający dziennik z getta, w którym kilkakrotnie wspomina Korczaka i Dom Sierot:

16 IX 1940

Powstawał w szczególnych warunkach, zawiera ogromną ilość zdarzeń, przeżyć, faktów i obserwacji; czasem zawartych w kilku słowach.

*Piosenka M. Radziszewski, 1892.
Do wuja starca rzekło dziewczę raz
Gdy już przeminął twej młodości czas
Czemuś samotny i smutny tak
Czemu ci żony i dzieci brak

July and August 1941-1942 are "my" difficult Holocaust months - especially August 5th 1941 and August 5th 1942.

I do not have a single photo of my real grandfathers; Baruch Wasserman and Gabriel Rozental, therefore I used photograph of my extra grandfather - Janusz Korczak. It was the only photo we had on the walls wen living in Warsaw after WWII.

July-August 1941 - Pinsk

It starts in Pinsk 1941 - Holocaust by bullets
My grandfather Baruch Wasserman (born 1882 in Pinsk) was a teacher in Jewish schools there. He was teaching jiidish and mathematics and other subjects in numerous schools. The main school he worked at was carrying the name of Mejsze Glejberman. It was the major Jewish Bund School. Boruch also worked at vocational schools for girls and boys that were learning different crafts.

How did my grandfather died?
On the July 4th 1941, the Nazi-German army conquered Pinsk. It was the first large city in occupied territories whose Jewish population was to be completely annihilated. On the 9th of July, part of the Einsatzgruppen of the SS (for special tasks) arrived in Pinsk and immediately began persecuting the Jews including the murdering of several of them.
On 30 July 1941, Reichsführer SS Heinrich Himmler order in this manner: “All of the Jewish men in Pinsk should be executed, and the women and children should be driven into the swamps".July 4th, Germans entered Pinsk. Only one month later in August 1941 two aktions were carried out. Aktions means planned murdering and involved SS soldiers from the 2nd Cavalry Regiment of the mounted SS brigade. The officer in Command was Sturmbannfuehrer Magill. Polish police forces of Pinsk were also involved. Most probably my grandfather Baruch Wasserman was shot, murdered in these two actions and his body was buried in a pit close to village Iwaniki or Kozlowicze with all other Jews murdered in actions.

By order of the RFSS,
All Jews aged 14 and over who are found in areas being combed shall be shot to death; Jewish women and children shall be driven into the marshes. The Jews are the partisans reserve force; they support them. The killing by gunfire shall be carried out in accordance with orders from the local SD offices. In the city of Pinsk, the killing by shooting shall be carried out by cavalry companies 1 and 4, which are to be transferred to Pinsk. This Action is to begin at once. A report on the implementation shall be submitted.

August 5th 1941.
This deadly order was forwarded to the cavalry companies, and the killings took place on August 5–8, 1941. Most probably my grandfather Baruch Wasserman was shot on August 5th, 1941.

On the 5th of August 1941, 8,000 Jewish males were killed by the first cavalry company of the SS, near the village of Posienicze – Iwaniki, approx. 4 Km. north from Pińsk. The Nazis used the pretext that Jews were being taken to work as laborers for three days. The murdering continued through the 6th of August. The German fourth cavalry arrived in Pińsk later on August 6th to help expedite the actions.

On the 5th of August 1941, 8,000 Jewish males were killed by the first cavalry company of the SS, near the village of Posienicze – Iwaniki, approx. 4 km north from Pinsk.
July - August 1942 Warsaw Ghetto
On July 22, 1942, the systematic deportation of Jewish people from the Warsaw ghetto begins, as thousands 6 - 10 000) are rounded up daily and transported in the cattle wagons to a newly constructed extermination camp at Treblinka.
It was on July 17, when Heinrich Himmler, arrived to Auschwitz to watch the progress of the Final Solution, the arrival of  2,000 Dutch Jews and the gassing 500 of them. The next day, Himmler promoted the camp commandant, Rudolph Hoess, to SS major and ordered that the Warsaw ghetto should be depopulated and the inhabitants transported to extermination camp in Treblinka.

The Umschlagplatz, literally transshipment square was the former railway siding by Dzika and Stawki Street in Warszawa. Here the Nazis loaded Jews from Warszawa Ghetto onto cattle trucks to be resettled in the east, which in practice meant being sent on crowded freight cars to the extermination camp at Treblinka, 90 kilometres (55 miles) east of Warsaw.

My grandfather from Warsaw Gabriel Rozental was deported from Umschlagplatz 26 on July 26, 1942 He was just 50 yer old.

My grandmother Helena Rozental b. Polirsztok was deported om August 3rd 1942.

August 5th 1942.
Janusz Korczak (my extra grandfather) and 239 children from the Orphanage at 16 Sienna street were deported August 5th , 1942. My father was the only teacher from Dom Sierot that survived the deportation as he was working outside the Ghetto on that day.
