Swedish Holocaust Memorial Association - SHMA was represented at the meeting with the Israeli minister Benny Gantz. Benny Gantz's mother was brought from Bergen-Belsen to Sweden by UNRRA White Boat mission in July 1945. She left Trelleborg (Sweden) for Eretz Israel on January 24, 1947, on the ship S/S Ulua. The chairman of SHMA, Roman Wroblewski did extensive research about Benny Gantz's mother. Most of the materials were collected at the Swedish National Archives, Marieberg. |
