What are they doing with Janusz Korczak at Museum Polin and the Polish Wikipedia

Janusz Korczak - Henryk Goldszmit

Janusz Korczak was his pen name.
This is what we know for sure.

Was Korczaks birthname?
Hersz Goldszmit
or
Hersz - Henryk Goldszmit
or as many Polish sources writes
Henryk Goldszmit.

Parents called him Henryk (probably).

Museum Polin in Warszawa writes about Korczaks name the following:

His father, even though he was a renowned and respected lawyer, delayed obtaining a birth certificate for Janusz and this is why we do not know the exact date of his birth. The birth certificate does, however, indicate the real name of the man who was to become known as Janusz Korczak later on: Henryk, or Hirsz, Goldszmit. He was named after his grandfather in line with a Jewish tradition: so that he could inherit his character and talents.

What do they mean? Wherefrom comes Hirsz. In Swedish we call it goja or rappakalja!

It is known from the very official document like Polish Military documents that Korczak was registered as Henryk Goldszmit and just one day of birth, July 22, 1878 is given.
