When in Włocławek last week, I spent two mornings (05-07.00 AM) searching for signs of mezuzah. I visited 50 houses and saw more than 300,000 doors. However, overpainted mezuzah or the spaces for (after) the mezuzah at the old door frames were left! Sometimes signs of small holes after nails.
