The mother of the female soldier, Noa Marciano, whose body was recovered from Gaza said on November 17, 2023:
"We won’t forget or forgive"
Almost the same words were used by my mother in the post-war inscription on the tombstone of her sister Sabina, a Holocaust victim who died in the Warsaw Ghetto on February 28, 1941.
"God, do not let us forget - God, do not let us forgive"
