Many people from the Jewish emigration of 1969, the post-March one, categorically refused to accept daffodils! Yesterday, at a concert in Tel-Aviv organized by the Polin Museum, no one mentioned Anielewicz, the commandant of the Ghetto Uprising.
Nobody mentioned Antek Cukierman or Cywia Lubetkin, for whom Eretz Israel was a dream as for most fighters and who actively contributed to its creation in 1948.
Only one among the insurgents was mentioned, a member of the Polish KOR organization - Edelman. One of the few Jews that stayed in Poland after 1969. Edelman hated the state of Israel.
Of course, daffodils were distributed everywhere.
Many people from the emigration of 1969, the post-March one, categorically refused to accept them!
And the Polish ambassador to Israel was absent. Free position for years!
